We are thrilled to announce our upcoming Styled Dance Photoshoot: Spring Edition, a vibrant event designed to showcase the beauty and artistry of dance in a stunning visual format. Whether you’re a dancer or a supporter this event promises to be a spectacular experience filled with creativity, inspiration, and of course FLOWERS!
This special one of a kind session will feature an immersive gallery-style installation of larger-than-life blooms created by the highly sought-after and acclaimed designer, Elisa McCurdy, sure to produce stunning and unforgettable images!
Styled Dance Photoshoot: Location
Join us on April 27th for a day immersed in the rhythm of movement and the artistry of photography. This shoot will take place in Downtown Columbus and the specific address will be sent to you the day before.
Spring-Themed
This spring-themed photoshoot embraces the beauty of the season, capturing the essence of dance against a backdrop of blossoming flowers and bright colors. Prepare to step into a magical atmosphere where our shared love for dance and creative expression will shine!
What to Bring
Make sure to arrive prepared! Here are a few essentials you will need to bring:
Dance Attire:
Choose an outfit that reflects your personal style and resonates with the theme.
You will be responsible for providing the base layer of your costume, but of course, can bring your own accessories too if you would like. We will have lots of fun costume pieces and accessories for you to add.
Feel free to embrace vibrant colors and flowing fabrics that will beautifully complement your movements.
Dance Shoes:
Feel free to wear pointe shoes, soft ballet shoes, or even go barefoot! We can envision any of these options being absolutely stunning in our curated backdrop.
Makeup & Hair:
While natural makeup and traditional hairstyles will always look great for a photoshoot, we encourage you to get creative if you feel inspired too!
If you would like to go for a more ethereal look, consider wearing your hair down or half up half down for added movement in your shoot!
The Styled Dance Photoshoot Experience
Upon arrival, you will be greeted by our talented team who will guide you through our curated selection of accessories, props, and costume pieces (check out our Insta for sneak peeks of what we have in store for you!).
You’ll have about 30 minutes to make your selections and get ready for your time in front of the camera. The total time from start to finish will be 45 minutes.
As the shoot commences, Jennifer will provide guidance and encourage you to express yourself freely—remember, this is a space to explore and have fun! We always encourage dancers to prepare a few poses to help get them started, but as you feel comfortable we highly encourage improvisation for this session as the immersive set will give you lots of options and inspiration to work with!
