This exclusive Revolution Dance offering includes a 25-minute session with 3 retouched high-resolution digital images that you’ll select from your gallery, for the discounted price of $300. Additional images can be purchased from your gallery. Because Revolution Dance is partnering with us to bring this experience to your dancers, the studio will have permission to use any images you select for marketing purposes.

Our professional dance photography sessions are more than just a chance to capture stunning, portfolio-worthy images (though you’ll get those too). They’re an opportunity for your dancer to step into their power, refine their presence, and gain real-world experience in front of the lens.

These sessions are led by a professional dance photographer with decades of experience working exclusively with dancers, as both a dance educator and an artist with an MFA in Dance from the University of California, Irvine. That means your dancer is not only getting beautiful images, but also high-level coaching from someone who truly understands the language of movement and performance.

They’ll learn how to take direction, express artistry through stillness, and bring their full self forward with clarity and confidence, skills that extend far beyond the shoot.

Each session will include the creation of an online proof gallery with anywhere from 10 – 25 images to choose from. Digital and print options start at $25 and no purchase minimums are required.

What To Wear

For this shoot, we’re envisioning black, neutral, or darker tones for a cohesive, elevated look. However, dancers are welcome to bring an additional outfit with something brighter if that feels most authentic. Sessions can be split between two outfits. Most importantly, we want the dancers to wear what makes them feel their absolute best. Nothing shines more on camera than confidence!

About The Photographer

Jennifer Zmuda is an Emmy award-winning director and professional photographer in Columbus, Ohio. Drawing on her national reputation as a dance photographer, Jennifer’s photography services showcase a passion for movement and storytelling that sets her work apart. From corporate video production to upscale wedding photography, her work is backed by an extensive portfolio of high-profile clients across the country.

Jennifer’s projects have been featured in The Washington Post, Good Housekeeping, Architectural Digest, Pointe Magazine, Dance Magazine, The Columbus Dispatch, CityScene, and many other local and national outlets. With a Master of Fine Arts degree from the University of California, Irvine, she launched her photography business in 2006 and continues to shoot dance and wedding photography along with senior pictures, baby portraits, corporate videos, and much more.

Since 2011, Jennifer has acted as the sole dance photographer and videographer for BalletMet, the premier Columbus dance company and academy, and in 2017, she won her first Emmy for the short-format dance film, “Vaulted.”
